Taiwan Trip Day 4

Today is the 2nd day in the main city of Taiwan - Taipei. We notice that there is a huge difference between taipei city and gaoshiong city, ie the population. Everywhere in taipei is crowded. However, there are similarities too, ie the shops open at 11-12pm noon and close at 10pm sharp. We can hardly find an appropriate breakfast shop and therefore, the breakfast of the day is McDonald's :D

People do praise about the 猪柳堡 (pork burger) from mcD in others countries and i 've tried China & Taiwan's one and it taste so so only, nothing special as it compare to m'sia breakfast set.

After McD, we took MRT to Taiwan Floral Expo 2010, which held at taipei for 6 month long. Our initial plan were in the floral expo for 1 whole day but in the end, we notice that this expo is too artistic for us and we do not find any interesting point from it. We stayed there for about 2-3 hours before we leave.

Mascot for the floral expo is just fit with my jacket colour xD

Photobucket

Photobucket
arent this artistic?? i dont understand why are them included in floral expo >.<

Photobucket
colourful ah!

Photobucket
ok..that's enough for floral expo..dont waste time and move to nex pit stop. We randomly choose a stall for our lunch before we start to shop :)

凉面 (养生面)

We left the stall halfly satisfied because the taste do not suit us much but at least we dont feel hunger now. MRT took us to 公馆站. Friend told me those Adidas, Nike, Puma brand sports shoe are cheap in here but it does not turn out to be real after we comparing the prices in gaoxiong and other places.

At night, we took MRT again to 古亭站 to 师大夜市, One of the famous night market in Taipei. This is the first night market we visit in taipei and it is very different from the 六合夜市. 六合夜市 are mainly foods and the road is very wide and the most important thing is there is less crowded compare to here whereas 师大夜市 do sells clothing and girls assesories as well.

拥有25年的老店“师园”盐酥鸡. You pick the foods and put it in the basket and past it to the tauke, then she will fry all the thing together can add some chilli powder and that's it.

Amigo 葡式蛋挞 - In here, you can taste the 100% originally 波咯包 because the owner of this shop comes from Macau.

the friendly lady boss who serve us politely and do the packaging well. The buns are just came out from the oven and serve it hot to us..

Photobucket
of cause..also the 葡式蛋挞 i would say it is much tastier than anyone selling in malaysia but it is quite expensive somehow. It cost approx RM3 each >.<

可丽饼

Photobucket
水果乐园 it looks great, it looks nice, it taste good, and it is expensive too, but yet u need to queue up to pay and also to collect when it is ur turn.

Just after collecting this 可丽饼, it started to rain. We couldnt continue walking anymore and we need to run to the MRT station as none of us brought umbrella. we took MRT back to hotel and that's the end of the day, another day with full of foods in our stomach.

Right before we reach our hotel, we saw her......
