Putu Piring Tengkera @ Melaka

When comes to Melaka, many foods will come to our mind (eg: chicken rice, chendol, popiah, siham, nadeje(japanese layer cake), nyonya meal.) where these are common to me, because i have been to melaka for numbers of time in 2 months, and the routine is always the same.

During our last visit to melaka, that is on Friday, i went to melaka with my friends again. This time, the best part of the food is this Putu Piring @ Jalan Tengkera.
If u compare this to those selling in pasar malam near your housing area, i can tell you, forget about them. U will never want to try those putu piring after u try this 1. Although this putu piring selling at 80cents each while pasar malam only selling at 40-50cents each. But the additional 30 cents is 100% worth more than it.

棠记 Wan Tan Mee @ Sri Rampai, Setapak

Went to Sri Rampai for dinner just now. Friend suggested us to go 棠记  云吞面 at Sri rampai, Setapak.
棠记 located at a  small food court at Lorong Rejang and it is located at the corner shop.
The food overall is acceptable and consider as nice in KL area, but i still think there are better one in seremban :-D

Ikea Food @ Ikea

Ikea would be a nice place for you to shop, to see their products, to explore their innovation, to find ideas on how to decorate your future house, to see expensive things, etc etc
but for me, who is still a student and earn nothing every month, i couldn't affect  to buy those furniture from Ikea and it is too early for me to decide how my future house looks like..
the reason we go to ikea..is because of their FOODS
today i went to ikea, with 3 friends, AGAIN and we had our lunch and tea time there :D




Daim Cake @ RM5.50 - did u eat DAIM chocolate before? the top of this cake is actually same as the chocolate. Worth to try it as it is something special.


Meatball with Fries @ RM5 - cheap huh? with 5 meatball + bunch of fries. its special is it come with cranberry jam and that is kinda weird to me.BUT, the gravy is super nice and i would recommend this is a MUST TRY item.



Chicken Whole Leg @ RM10.40 - not so recommended dish as the herb is too heavy to me.but the portion is quite big.


Chicken Wing @ RM3.99 - thumbs up for the chicken wings :D

Blue Berry Muffin @ RM1.5 each - so so only

as you can see, even in Ikea Restaurant, they do provide many types of sittings for you that may suits you the best and most comfortable for you when u having ur meal.

After that, we went into Ikea and my friend bought a mini table. Then, next stop:
there is another cafe at ground floor and IKEA serves you their famous Curry Puff  + Hot dog


Ikea Curry Puff @ RM1 each / 6 for RM5.50 (save Rm0.50) - Cheap cheap and Cheap & it is nice! that's the reason why we always drive from tarC to Ikea for.


Ikea Chicken Hot Dog @ RM2 - wtf?? a plain bread + a hot dog cost RM2?

Ikea only sell exp furnitures but not exp foods! xD here it is. you can add ur toppings and ingredients urself. D.I.Y. ur own hotdog

as u can see from the pic, the woman is holding a cone of ice cream..Yea.it is from Ikea too and it only cost RM1. i would say...McD sundae cone still better =)

Tak Fook Restaurant 得福小厨 @ Kepong Aman Puri

When we talk about crab, alot of us will thought 1kg of crab cost easily RM40-45 in normal restaurant.

But, did u come over a restaurant that only charge RM18/kg for the crabs???

yea..it is true. Tak Fook charge RM18/kg of crabs and no extra charges on behalf.

my friend suggested this restaurant and we decided to give it a try. Overall the foods are nice and affordable.

Snowflake Taiwanese Dessert @ Pavillion

Snowflake is a taiwanese dessert shop with many kinds of ice.
Way back to beginning of year... ... ..
One of my friend told me ss15 got very nice dessert but is quite far from setapak area.When we were shopping at pavillion, we saw the same name, same decoration of the shop - Snowflake...we went to give it a try and since then, everytime we passby pj or pavillion, snowflake become a must visit place to us.

Back to July, we celebrate friend's birthday @ Tony Roma's in Pavillion. Can't deny the foods are delicious but abit over price and not affordable for student to visit like us xD

I didn't plan to run this food blog during that time, so i didn't mark down the foods name and price. Sorry for that.

I will make sure i mark it down IF i got the chance to visit tony roma's again next time.
