Spasso Milano @ Jalan Ampang

Spasso Milano is a Italian Restaurant located in Nihonkan Club, at Jalan Ampang. The whole building is newly refurnish and white in colour. On the ground floor, we got Paparich while Spasso Milano at the first floor. The environment there is fantastic and it is suitable for couples to celebrate their anniversaries here.

For your information, Spasso Milano is having buffet lunch from 12pm - 3pm and it only costs you RM18++ and yeah! just pay RM18++ and you can enjoy everything in such environment. On top, you can top up additional RM3 for a main course, that is RM21++ in total with 3 choices of main course available for you to choose.

I would say, the environment itself already cost more than RM20 as their services are pretty good and friendly! Smiley faces are everywhere except for few trainee waitress i guess?

Gim Men Teppanyaki @ Port Dickson

Gim Men Teppanyaki is located at Kampung Arab, Port Dickson. According to my uncle, the owner of this restaurant was in Bak Kut Teh business last time. But for don't know what reason, he withdraw from that business and started this restaurant. This uncle just make a right decision and i think he will never regret for the rest of his life. You will know why later on when you see the pictures below. I think 80% of the people in PD should know this place because this restaurant really crowded on weekend.

Overall, the famous delicacies in this restaurant is the three flavour fish (三味鱼) and stuffed crab (釀蟹壳). This two dishes should appear on your table on your first visits.

Photobucket
三味鱼 @ RM52 - from the name itself already explain this single dishes gives you three types of flavour. the fish was grilled with banana leaves together with 3 different kind of sauces. And yes, it comes with homemade fish ball where stuffed with some meat inside (something like 福州鱼丸) *yums*

Photobucket
釀蟹壳 @ RM30 / RM5 each - stuffed crab with some crab meat, fish, pork mixed up together and steam till it is cooked. Some chilli sauce and thousand island sauce are added on top.

Photobucket
some close up..

Photobucket
Fried Taufu @ RM8 - It is just made by normal taufu where you can purchase from the market but you will never taste this at another restaurant. The taufu is crispy at outside and soft inside.

Photobucket
Sweet potato leaves @ RM8 - for your information, all vegetables are free from pesticides! so eat for ur health :)

Photobucket
La La @ RM12 - La la with some wine sauce + onion + egg is special and worthwhile to try

Photobucket
close up *winks*

Photobucket
卤猪脚 @ RM13 - a last minute add on for the dinner that night. Overall was satisfy if you dont mind it's fats.

that is the reason why i said the uncle wont regret for quiting his bak kut teh shop....He was on the newspaper since long long ago for his specialty. Although the words and colors may be worn out, but the uncle's photo are still there.

Taiwan Trip Day 4

Today is the 2nd day in the main city of Taiwan - Taipei. We notice that there is a huge difference between taipei city and gaoshiong city, ie the population. Everywhere in taipei is crowded. However, there are similarities too, ie the shops open at 11-12pm noon and close at 10pm sharp. We can hardly find an appropriate breakfast shop and therefore, the breakfast of the day is McDonald's :D

People do praise about the 猪柳堡 (pork burger) from mcD in others countries and i 've tried China & Taiwan's one and it taste so so only, nothing special as it compare to m'sia breakfast set.

Photobucket
After McD, we took MRT to Taiwan Floral Expo 2010, which held at taipei for 6 month long. Our initial plan were in the floral expo for 1 whole day but in the end, we notice that this expo is too artistic for us and we do not find any interesting point from it. We stayed there for about 2-3 hours before we leave.

Photobucket
Mascot for the floral expo is just fit with my jacket colour xD

Photobucket
yea...these flowers are nice

Photobucket
and these too

Photobucket
arent this artistic?? i dont understand why are them included in floral expo >.<

Photobucket
colourful ah!

Photobucket
ok..that's enough for floral expo..dont waste time and move to nex pit stop. We randomly choose a stall for our lunch before we start to shop :)

Photobucket
凉面 (养生面)

We left the stall halfly satisfied because the taste do not suit us much but at least we dont feel hunger now. MRT took us to 公馆站. Friend told me those Adidas, Nike, Puma brand sports shoe are cheap in here but it does not turn out to be real after we comparing the prices in gaoxiong and other places.

At night, we took MRT again to 古亭站 to 师大夜市, One of the famous night market in Taipei. This is the first night market we visit in taipei and it is very different from the 六合夜市. 六合夜市 are mainly foods and the road is very wide and the most important thing is there is less crowded compare to here whereas 师大夜市 do sells clothing and girls assesories as well.

拥有25年的老店“师园”盐酥鸡. You pick the foods and put it in the basket and past it to the tauke, then she will fry all the thing together can add some chilli powder and that's it.

Photobucket
盐酥鸡+甜不辣

Photobucket
起司马铃薯店 - Baked potato with cheesy gravy together is the best combination!

Photobucket
see?? the orangie in color are cheesy!!!! yums.

Photobucket
we ordered one with extra becon in it xD

Photobucket
Amigo 葡式蛋挞 - In here, you can taste the 100% originally 波咯包 because the owner of this shop comes from Macau.

Photobucket
the friendly lady boss who serve us politely and do the packaging well. The buns are just came out from the oven and serve it hot to us..

Photobucket
of cause..also the 葡式蛋挞 i would say it is much tastier than anyone selling in malaysia but it is quite expensive somehow. It cost approx RM3 each >.<

Photobucket
nom nom nom.. the 波咯包 with hazzlenut on top...NICE!!!

Photobucket
可丽饼

Photobucket
水果乐园 it looks great, it looks nice, it taste good, and it is expensive too, but yet u need to queue up to pay and also to collect when it is ur turn.

Just after collecting this 可丽饼, it started to rain. We couldnt continue walking anymore and we need to run to the MRT station as none of us brought umbrella. we took MRT back to hotel and that's the end of the day, another day with full of foods in our stomach.

Right before we reach our hotel, we saw her......
Photobucket
Photobucket
dont know her??? click here to know her and enjoy her performance. She is also from 新光6班.

Photobucket
we bought her DVD with her signature and have a group photo with her as well..that would be a perfect ending for the night cause popo can see his idol :)
