Padi House @ Sri Petaling (Revisit)

My first visit to the padi house was just last week and the pictures attract all of them, we decided to revisit padi house again after failed to visit 2011 Hot Air Ballooon Fiesta due to the downpour.

At the beginning, we went to padi house in cyberjaya but the menu and the environment there turn us down. The menu there doesnt attract us at all although 80% of the dishes are same. Furthermore, the environment was just too bad for dinner and the food wont taste well no matter how well the chef cook.. xD

So in the end, we walked out from the restaurant after 20mins without ordering anything and went back to the sri petaling outlet. My first post about padi house in available in Here

It is always better to visit a restaurant with a number of  people rather than a couple not because i am still single or what. We can order much much more of foods and my camera is happy too and my blog as well =)

Mashed Potato @ RM5.90 - better than KFC's one but more expensive than KFC's


Cincinnati Fine Way ( Beef Pasta) @ RM12.90 - A layer of thick cheese covered on the beef pasta and it's filling.

Padi House Chef Salad @ RM12.90 - Inhouse salad with boiled egg, grilled chicken, ham, cheese slices and of cause veges.


Should try this. not too bad.


Mongolian Lamb Cutlet @ RM16.90 - Seldom places offer such low price for lamb with such big portion and most important is it is tasty. for your information, the sauce is thousand island but i duno what sauce is that.. xD


Mexican Beef Taco @ RM8.90 - The bottom part is the crispy nanchos but in big pieces with the beef topping on top. It is almost the same as the beef pasta.

Grilled Chicken with Pesto Foudue @ RM16.90  - The bottom part is again the mashed potato and the green layer on top is cheese but i wonder why it is green in colour. It is juicy and i dont need any extra chili sauce.


the gravy is actually the mashed potato gravy and not for the grilled chicken but i din realised it till i finish the gravy. FML. in the end, i eat the mash potato without having the gravy.

Taiwan Trip Day 3

Today, we are leaving from GaoXiong and moving to our main destination of this trip ie TaiPei :D Throughout the trip, we are only visiting gaoxiong and taipei as the transport in this 2 places are most common with MRT services :)

Our initial plan of the day was, visit 佛光山 at gaoxiong before we depart to taipei. But due to many reasons, and we prefer eat / shopping, we give up. But as a buddhist, this is a place where we should visit and have a look.

Instead of visiting 佛光山, we went 新崛江商圈 to shop and eat =) In this area, there are hundreds of Nike, Adidas, Puma, shops here and you will never see such varieties of shoes in malaysia. Not to say the choices of shoes, the prices are cheaper than malaysia too. 

Before we started to "open fire", we decided to try their local fast food restaurant - MOS Burger

as you can see, they use rice and replace with the bread and it taste yummy. FYI, taiwan rice are NICE and it's something like japanese rice.. Bagus!!!

it is actually taiwan sausage (小肠）+ Glutinous Rice (大肠) and variety of sauces for u to choose as topping

Til late afternoon, it's time for us to leave gaoxiong. It takes almost 2 hours train from gaoxiong to taipei main station.

*On the HSR ( High Speed Rail)*

we reached ximen, place where we stay at 8pm+ and checked in to our hotel....


I've learn the phrase "做人不可以只看外表" from this hotel


the outside building & the lift fail to the max but once u reach this hotel, u'll feel so different like u are in another space.

Nothing much we can do at 9 o'clock in the night as most of the shops are preparing to close..the only thing we can do is..eat lo...whatelse? :D

Taiwan famous 麻辣火锅 - the soup is well "tune", not too hot and it taste perfect....woots!!


It's is steamboat buffet with over 100+ types of food available just like Malaysia


and the only difference is, they give unlimited supply of this!!
