First of all, i am towards my end of my study life and therefore i am busying with hell lots of assignment. I would not be able to update so frequent and i apologize for it.
M-E-N-U
Pineapple Seafood Fried Rice (黄梨炒饭) @ RM13.90 - it may sound expensive for a plate of fried rice but see the size of the prawn and the mussel.. i wouldn't say it is the best but it taste more better than many others fried rice.
Pineapple fried rice sure full with pineapple taste la :-D
Crispy Pork Rice with Garlic (蒜米爆火饭) @ RM9.90 - the restaurant hot selling.
sold off after 2-3pm daily because it's really hot selling item
Club French Toast (又一村多士) @ RM6.90 - it's super creamy and dont try to finish it alone or u will gain at least 200gram xD
the toast is filled with peanut jam and oso BANANA....for banana lovers, this will not dissapoint you!
Roast BBQ Pork Rice (叉烧咸蛋饭) @ RM9.90 - another hot selling rice. The Char Siu is just nice. Not too fat and not too skinny xD
Hong Kong YinYang & Hong Kong Coffee @ RM3.90 each
as i mentioned earlier, these are refillable & Free flow and they are not watery..thumbs up!
all price are subjected to 15% charges

During my last visit to this hong kong style restaurant, U-Village, where located at Sg Wang, this place is packed with people during lunch time. i guess the reason is because of the free flow milk tea, coffe, @ only RM3.90. Besides, and also their food la of cause :D
the restaurant was refurnish since our last visits and the environment has improved. Overall is a good place for hanging out and for chit chat since it is in town area.

Ah Weng Koh Hainan Tea (海南茶) @ Jalan Imbi, KL
Pasar (market) is a place where all the nice foods gather. I mean big market. Don't you agree? this has been proven. In Jalan Imbi market, there is a Hainan Tea, called Ah Weng Koh Hainan Tea that serves you the best toast in KL, perhaps Malaysia.
Youngsters like me do not do marketing.
Youngsters like me do not visit market frequently
Youngsters like me do not wake up early in the morning for breakfast.
Youngsters like me do not eat breakfast everyday (sometimes when we wake up, is already lunch time).
Youngsters like me do not know how important breakfast is.
But, after visiting Ah Weng Koh, youngster like me do
Besides Hainan Tea, the popiah there is simply the best too and it finish at 10am >.< Today we reached at 10.15 and the stall was closed. So, no pictures for the popiah.
Toasted Polo Bun (太空包) - A toast with a big slice of butter and wide spread of kaya. Outer layer of this bun was cruncy but inside was just soft. We taught not to judge people by their appearance. Same goes to food. The presentation of the bun may not interesting but the taste do.
See the slice of butter and its thickness..it's fattening but WHO CARES?? and for your information, the butter they use is SCS butter. What is SCS butter? you tried Oldtown Toast before? they use SCS butter too!
Half Boiled Eggs- it comes in a mug and the uncle/auntie works there will inform you how long it takes to take out from the mug. For those who wants the eggs to be boiled MORE, you can put it in the mug longer before you crack it. Common sense >.<
Try to dip the polo bun to your half boiled egg. IT IS NICE!!!!!
Hainan Tea - is actually a mixture or coffee + tea, or we called it as "cham" in cantonese. The aroma of coffee is thick and rich. Furthermore, it is not too sweet.
Everytime we order in set. 1 set included 1 cup of hainan tea, 2 half boiled eggs, and 2 slices of toasted polo bun. 1 set cost you RM4.80
and of course, side order or ala carte or order separately is available too.
Hainan Tea RM1.80
2 Half Boiled Eggs RM1.60
2 slices of Toasted Polo Bun RM1.40
Location:
Pasar Bukit Bintang,
Jalan Melati, 55100 KL
(In case you cant find Ah Weng Koh, look out for umbrellas. The restaurant is covered with full of umbrellas)

Capitol Satay Celup @ Melaka
"Did you try Satay Celup before?"
"No"
Then you aren't been to Melaka before...
I always heard people said this when they were chatting about Melaka and i guess everyone who visit Melaka would tried satay celup before. There are only two satay celup in melaka, ie Capitol and Ban Lee Hiang @ Jalan Ong Kim Wee. I'd never tried Ban Lee Hiang satay celup before because my friends always suggest me to Capitol.
Capitol Satay Celup is operated by Low Yong Cheng's family. LOW YONG CHENG'S family has been in the satay celup business since the mid-1950s. His grandfather used a kandar stick to carry his wares in two baskets which are one for the fresh food, the other for the stove and sauce. Over 80 types of seafood and vegetables are served here. The fresh food is kept very fresh via huge refrigerators at the back and open fridges with shelves at the dining hall. I quoted this from internet sources.
Queuing up at capitol for their satay celup is normal. you may have to wait for up to one hour or more due to the limited space they had in there. During my last visit to Capitol, which is on last month, October 2010, to avoid people jam, we decided to go capitol at 6pm and we do not need to wait while the seats are waiting for us. :D
To be serious, the foods are normal and nothing special. But if you have not been there, i would suggest you to try it. Everything got the first time ma =)
the shop only can put around 10-15 tables and that is the reason why we always need to wait for so long.
There are more than 80 varieties of seafoods and vegetable served here. Each stick is RM0.80
Take whatever you want while waiting for the "kuah" to boil. You are allowed to put it back if you cant finish the things you took. BUT please la..dont do that as it is not good to do that la and it is not hygiene la pls.
When your "kuah" is done, boss will come and start to put those rempah-rempah into it and make them taste better. and the rempah is their secret recipe and attracted so many people visit.
Why satay CELUP? cause you need to put your foods inside the "kuah" before you can eat it.
They do clarify that they DO NOT have any branches in elsewhere. Don't be misleaded
Price: RM0.80 for each stick

Kita No Zen @ The Gardens, Midvalley
It is a new japanese restaurant located at top floor in The Gardens, same floor with Sushi Zanmai. It is at right in front of the escalator, in between Sony, Nokia, Sony Ericsson shops.
It was still under renovation when my last visit to The Gardens few months ago and i went in front to read the notice pasted on the board, i found out that, it is from the same company of Sushi Zanmai, which means, both of this japanese restaurant + Rakuzen is owned by the same company.
Kita No Zen has more spacious seats to fit customers than sushi zanmai. If you are a regular customers of Sushi Zanmai, you should know that queuing up at sushi zanmai is a norm, especially during peak hour as the tables and seats in sushi zanmai is quite little. However, compare to zanmai, Kita No Zen charges higher price of foods.
They even craft a leaf shape on the wasabi before they serve to customers
The Big Menu that contains over hundreds of food for us to choose. Took about 20mins to decide whether which to order
the spacious place
the foods even taste better in a nice environment.
a see through glass kitchen
FOODS:
Unajyu Zen ( Unagi Set) @ RM36 - it comes with a bowl of miso soup, chawanmushi, fruits, jelly fish, and the unagi rice. it taste nice especially the U-N-A-G-I and the size is big!
Hama Sashimi Mori @ RM45 - it contains of 5 types of sashimi
see how thick is salmon?
But, i still prefer Umaiya's Sashimi *drool* refer my older post on Umaiya Here
Hotate Don ( Scallop ) @ RM18 - it comes together with a bowl of miso soup. Let me count, i think there are almost 6-8 scallops
Inari Sushi @ RM2 each.. when i was looking at the menu, i thought it comes in pair. But when it serve... ...
Spider Roll @ RM22 - it's actually a soft shell crab roll and i think the soft shell crab was too oily and the vege is too much
For Dessert, we randomly ordered this, Mango Crepe @ RM9.80 - Mango Sherbet + Fresh Mango + Crepe = BEST!! the mango sherbet is absolutely worth for the price.
Can taste the ice-cream at this session, Hokkaido Ichiba, Every Ice-cream dessert found in Kita No Zen can be ordered here too at the same price. They also sells single or double scope of ice-cream too. Single scope @ RM4.80 and double scope @ RM6.80
A Shojikiya (snacks shops) is just beside hokkaido ichiba. For japanese food lovers, u can dine ur meal, have your dessert, purchase japanese snacks at one shot :D
